Patches and Badges

Join artist and music fanatic Jenny Pengilly for a drop-in art workshop exploring Croydon’s music, past and present.

Taking inspiration from song titles, lyrics and imagery, you will be guided to design and make your own pin badges and iron-on patches, using a variety of techniques in paper and fabric collage, and embroidery. Join us as we get creative and reflect on what music brings to our lives.

All abilities welcome. This workshop is designed for adults but your little ones are also welcome to get involved!

Jenny Pengilly is an artist and creative facilitator based in South London. She has the monthly radio show Experimental Tunes and Children on RTM.FM, is co-director of El Warcha co-design collective and runs art workshops and projects with all ages everywhere.

This event is part of Croydon Remix, the closing weekend of our year as London Borough of Culture.
