Bulgarian Dance and Storytelling

Inspired by Christmas and the New Year, Marchela-Vasilena Dimitrova leads a blend of traditional Bulgarian dances and storytelling, including the story of the ‘Survakane’, a Bulgarian folklore custom used to celebrate the beginning of the New Year. Suitable for age 5+.

Poems of Peace

A multilingual poetry performance on the themes of peace, togetherness and the spirit of Christmas. Languages include amongst others Farsi, Urdu, Bengali and English. Presented in partnership with Faiths Together, Poets Anonymous Croydon and the Muslim Association Croydon.
