Save the date for A Very Croydon Christmas!
Taking place on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December, A Very Croydon Christmas brings communities and faiths of Croydon together for a winter celebration. Two magical days of free and ticketed events including music, dance, stories, crafts, and arts activities for all ages, led by artists, voluntary and community groups, and faith organisations.
A Very Croydon Christmas will take place at Croydon Clocktower, Croydon Central Library and Fairfield Halls. Enjoy an enchanting opera for 0-2-year-olds from HurlyBurly Theatre; experience a Windrush Christmas with Windrush Front Room; meet the almost real-life Bjorn the Polar Bear from Los Kaos; and join workshops, talks and events, including storytelling, dance, craft, from Faiths Together in Croydon, Beeja Dance, Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara Croydon, Subrang Arts with Gujarati bead craft workshops to make presents and decorations.
Quiet Space
11am – 4.30pm, Saturday 9 December
We are pleased to be able to offer a designated Quiet Space at Croydon Clocktower and Central Library for ‘A Very Croydon Christmas’. There will be a quiet breakout space in CALAT Workshop Two with comfy spaces to rest and relax, sensory aids and activities if you need to take some time away from the event. CALAT Workshop Two is accessible via the first floor of the Clocktower Atrium, past the David Lean Cinema. Please contact staff on the day for more information.
